Last year was the first Thanksgiving of our married life. We had wanted to spend all of our first holidays together…celebrating just the two of us. I was pretty excited to make my first Thanksgiving dinner. I couldn’t wait to buy the turkey and cook it…along with my Mom’s homemade stuffing recipe, which is the best by the way!
So…we went to Food 4 Less…found a good size turkey and brought it home and put it in the freezer. Well…a few days before Thanksgiving I was checking my recipes to see when I need to start cooking everything to get it all done at the same time. I checked my turkey…and to my HORROR I realized that I had bought a turkey with stuffing already inside of it! I was so disappointed. I called Tim, who was working, with the news.
So that’s my piece of advice to all newly married girls…make sure you know what you are buying! And I’m definitely checking my turkey for stuffing this year BEFORE I buy it!

I didn’t know you could buy turkey with the stuffing already in it… sounds kind of gross!
