I recently tried this recipes for a Monte Cristo Sandwich. Unfortunately I used rolls instead of sandwich bread…and I have a broiler that is below my oven not in my oven. So…the tops of the rolls got scraped on the broiler burner thingy. So I couldn’t broil it as long as I was supposed to. I’m going to have to try this recipe with normal sandwich bread!
