For me, the hardest thing about apartment living with the kids was how far away my car was in the carport and the fact that we were also upstairs. Made getting kids and groceries to and from the car challenging. I got good exercise though! Even now we use a pack n play instead of a crib to save space. One thing I know for sure is that it is much harder to keep a small space clean than a larger one. I like your attitude Carrie. We have the boys in one room, the girls in another room (that works out to 3 in one, 2 in the other), and then me and my husband sleep downstairs in a fold out bed in the living room which we make and unmake every night.
